Care

Since straw is a natural product, it is possible that your basket will have color variations!

Simply clean it with some warm water and a dab of soap. Apply this solution by dabbing your basket with a cloth, without rubbing too much to avoid damaging the fibers, nor wetting them to avoid shrinking.

Finally, to keep its shape, avoid folding it!

This year, for our new spring-summer collection, we have decided to be generous, offering you a wide selection of wicker baskets, colored, or sober and discreet, with or without patterns, there will be something for everyone.

Our Cecilia model is defined as elegant, discreet and chic in all circumstances. Easy to wear on a daily basis, but also very useful, you will find in it a companion of choice. Our Cecilia is a large basket in golden straw, with bands of lace, braids, but also sequins. You'll be able to carry it comfortably thanks to its wide handles made from recycled leather. To keep your things safe from prying eyes, the basket is equipped with a white cotton pocket that can be tightened, so you won't lose your things.

The art of the Moroccan inspired woven basket

It is in the north of Morocco, in the region of Fez, that we decided to have our straw baskets produced by craftsmen specialized in this ancestral art. The creation of a straw basket is quite technical, since they are created from wood which when it becomes wet allows to give life to our magnificent baskets.

Historical point on the basket

At the meeting of the Arab and Berber cultures in Morocco, the wicker basket has existed for many years. It was first discovered in Egypt, a practical object especially for nomadic people, it was used to carry food. Today, the straw basket is still a useful accessory, but with more decorative trends for living rooms, women use it a lot for shopping or as a great fashion accessory in bohemian and ethnic style.

Our straw baskets are both sturdy and flexible, so they're perfect to accompany you in your daily life over the years.
